Hello and welcome to this space!

My name is Lisbeth and I enjoy all things outdoorsy and adventure. I love traveling and learning about cultures and connection with people. I am so glad that you have found this special group! I have extensive experience working with all ages, but especially in the early childhood/preschool realm. Nature is a very important part of my personal life and I seek to practice the concept of Friluftsliv (Open Air Life and No Bad Weather).

I am a certified Forest School Teacher and a big advocate for the importance of outdoor free play for appropriate child development. I pull from various methodologies including Waldorf and Montessori, however the main focus of this group is Nature/Place based learning and play.

I would love the opportunity to answer any questions and share more about my passion for outdoor education and unhindered/ supported learning in an outdoor environment. I appreciate the ability to give children the opportunity to build friendships with others, a respect and awe for nature, and grow in resilience and kindness.
